Tulsa Renew was honored to be part of the March 3rd, Take Action Tulsa Project, which built a new home for a need family through Habitat for Humanity in Tulsa.
The home was installed with beautiful James HardiePlank lap-siding, with Steven Jones from Tulsa Renew lending his eye for the smallest of details and proven technical expertise with this durable, long-lasting fiber-cement siding installation.
Clark Howard, host of the nationally-syndicated The Clark Howard Show and his listening audience sponsored the event, and Clark even come to the home site to kick off the build. “It’s 70 grand to get the house sticks up, out of the ground” Clark said. “What I’m doing in Tulsa is, I’m putting up half the money, $35,000 and laying out a challenge to our listeners to put up the other half.”
Howard is no stranger to the Habitat for Humanity cause. “When we break ground in Tulsa it will be the 46th Habitat home I’ve sponsored and we have never failed” Clark added.
